STADIUM GENERAL SUPPORTING UNIVERSITY STUDENTS AS A FORM OF CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (CSR) AND CONNECTING SCIENTIFIC SYNERGY INDUSTRY-UNIVERSITY
Fakultas Teknik melaksanakan Stadium General dengan Tema Supporting University Students as a Form of Corporate Social; Responsibility (CSR) and Connecting Scientific Synergy Industry- University, pada hari Senin 28 agustus 2023, di Ruang Aula A.2.1. Faskultas Teknik dan dihadiri kurang lebih 50 mahasiswa angkatan 2017 s.d. 2020 serta beberapa alumni Jurusan Teknik Kimia Fakultas Teknik Universitas Lampung.
Wakil Dekan Bidang Kemahasiswaan dan Alumni Ageng Sadnowo Repelianto membuka acara tersebut, beliau mengatakan” It’s such an honour for me to speak on behalf of Dean faculty of engineering Unila. Let me begin by giving you a warm welcome to the stadium general. Before we get started, I would like to express to my appreciation to the Department of Chemical engineering, Himatemia and all of the crew who had made this event possible. In today’s stadium general, the title is Supporting university students as a form of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and connecting scientific synergy industry – university. We would talk about corporate social responsibility that can do provide opportunities, networks and partnerships. There is no campus in the world that can advance independently in developing science without corporate support and vice versa, corporate advancement always depends on the development of research conducted on campus. Both are interrelated and need each other in the development of human civilization. In this period, we have MBKM curriculum (Freedom of Learning Independent Campus) that offering students the opportunity to enhance their skills based on their talents and interests by directly entering the internship on corporates as preparation for future careers. Therefore, this event is a very appropriate activity in bridging between university and corporate. We look forward to synergizing with Nippon Shokubai, in particular to provide opportunities for our students and alumni with sustainable collaboration. I really appreciate Nippon Shokubai who will be recruiting several alumni as staff today”.
Mr. Kazuto Okazaki says “that he feels happy to come to University of Lampung especially to share his knowledge as a practitioner to students. He also wish that this studium generale can give the soon to be graduated students of chemical engineering department new insights about chemical plants”.
Tujuan diadakan acara ini adalah untuk mensuport mahasiswa dalam mensinergikan ilmu pengetahuan yang diberikan di universitas dengan aplikasi dilapangan serta sebagai salah satu event untuk merekrut calon karyawan atau fresh graduate oleh PT Nippon Shokubai di Fakultas Teknik Universitas Lampung. Acara berjalan dengan lancar dengan Narasumber Mr. Kazuto Okazaki, menyampaikan materi dengan judul “General Lecture From Practitioner To Students”.
